CALL FOR PAPERS
ISfAR2019 is an international refereed conference that is dedicated to the advancement of the world of research. It provides a platform to share and deliberate research and innovative scholarly ideas of education academics in all spheres of teaching and learning. Through conferences and publications, education scholars can network, debate and stimulate research and innovative ideas for quality education in the 21st Century. All the articles are subjected to rigorous blind peer review process and only successful articles will be published in a special edition of a journal accredited by the department of South African Higher Education and Training (DHET); and in the African Journal of Educational Research (AJER) with ISSN 2591-6998.
We invite action researchers, community activists, practitioners in education, healthcare, and human services, youth workers, culture workers, university faculty and students, and interested individuals from community-based organizations and initiatives to submit an abstract based on the 2019 Annual conference theme.
Non-English speakers are welcome to attend and present papers for as long as they will organize their own interpreters.
Scope of the conference are not limited to:
Education, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, Law and other related topic in Social Sciences.

PAPER SUBMISSION FORMAT
Abstract Submission format
The abstract should provide a summary of the paper in 300 – 500 words. It should include the name of the author(s), the institutional/organization affiliation(s), and the email address(es) of the author(s).
Please indicate at end of the abstract:
1) the type of presentation that you wish to give at the conference (i.e. Oral or Poster).
2) If you would like to chair a session

Page size: A4 (29.7 × 21.0 cm)
Margins: 2.54 cm on all sides.
Font type: Times New Roman
Line space: Single.
Word Limit: The paper should be 3500 – 4500 words in length (including references, tables, graphs, and figures). Extra pages will be charged at $50 per page.
Title: Centered, 14 point sizes, Bold
Authors, affiliation: Centered, 12 point sizes, italic, superscripts of different affiliation (1, 2, …)
Main text: Times New Roman, 12 point sizes.
The paper should include but not limited to the following:
- Purpose/objectives of the paper
- Conceptual/theoretical background or framework
- Methods/ techniques
- References(APA style).
FORMAT OF PRESENTATIONS
Presentations will either be oral or in poster form. Oral presentation will consist of three presentations in a 60-minute session.
PAPER REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE POLICY
ISfAR 2019 welcomes papers on any of the areas listed above. The abstract will be reviewed by experts in the field to determine their suitability for presentation at the conference. Full papers will be subjected to double blind reviews and based on the reviewers comments the editorial board will take a decision to accepted the paper or not.
KEYNOTE AND WORKSHOP SESSIONS
The conference will offer keynote and workshop sessions by the following reputable scholars.
Professor Rwekaza Mukandala
Rwekaza Mukandala is a Professor of Political Science and Social Administration. He is former Vice Chancellor for the University of Dar Es Salaam. He has also been President of the African Association of Political Science (AAPS). He was Chair of the Organizing Committee for the XIX World congress of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) Durban South Africa 2003. He has also served on the administrative council of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences.
|Professor Karen Steen
Karen Steen is Professor and Program Director of Fashion Studies at Cazenovia College, New York- USA. She recently was a Fulbright Scholar at University of Mauritius where she taught in the Department of Textile Technology and researched the Mauritian textile/apparel industry. Steen has researched textiles and apparel in over thirty countries; she has presented lectures in Syria, Kenya, South Africa, Mauritius and U.S. and was a Fulbright-Hays Scholar for a study tour of the textiles and apparel of India in 2007. She is an active member of International Textile Apparel Association and Educators for Socially Responsible Apparel Businesses.

Participants may book their accommodation at the conference venue or any of the other hotels close to the venue.
